Board Treasurer
Fran Zimmerman graduated with a B.S.B.A. Accounting degree from Missouri Western State University. After working for 35 years in the private sector, retiring as the CFO of a title insurance company, she began working for a non-profit entity. Upon retiring from that position in 2015, she began a volunteer position as the treasurer of PeacePathways.

Past Chair
Susan Sloan retired after serving as chief of staff for an international organization. She also directed numerous international conferences. Susan is a justice and peace activist and serves as a member of various peace and justice organizations. Susan received a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a minor in human resource development from Park University, Parkville, Missouri.

Board Member
Kate Beem is a clinical social worker. She serves as clinical director and therapist at Mother's Refuge and as a qualified mental health professional at ReDiscover. Kate has a MSW and a bachelor in journalism. She spent 20 years as a professional journalist.

Board Member
Madora Graffeo is an elementary Music Teacher in the Independence Public Schools. She teaches general music to Kindergarten through the 5th Grade. She specializes in directing musical productions at school and at church. She also taught Band for several years. She plays the oboe in the Heritage Philharmonic and special occasions.

Board Member
Heather Wiley is currently serving on the Independence City Council. She has worked as a graphic designer and has experience with social media. Heather is a strong advocate for the community and nonprofit animal shelter volunteer.

Board Vice-Chair
Jeff McLaughlin is a member of the Independence Square Association and serves on the Independence Tourism and the Independence Police Foundation. Jeff is a member and board member of the Chamber of Commerce and Independence Rotary, and is the owner/president of Corporate CopyPrint.

Board Secretary
Erin Stevenson is employed in the financial sector, specializing in Talent Acquisition.

Board Member
Lori Barnett has worked in the financial sector for many years and is now self-employed as a tax preparer. She is also active in volunteering in multiple nonprofit peace organizations and a community garden called Grateful Gardens of San Jose. She has served on several boards with a focus on peacebuilding.

Board Member
Larry Cleveland is retired after serving as Director-Benefits for Trans World Airlines and their transition upon acquisition by American Airlines, and later as an Estate Planning Specialist. He has served on several nonprofit boards. Larry has an MBA.

Board Member
Roxy Kellogg is a retired Elementary School Educator and nonprofit office administrator. She has been an event coordinator for several nonprofit organizations and support staff for a mediation center. She is a trained community mediator.
